Just my all-time favorites as of now – 03/06/2023 ;)
Hey Bookish Whores!
I’ve been reorganizing my bookshelf, and it got me thinking, I should just recommend my favs and put them out there. Nothing controversial, no hot takes, just me telling you about some of my favs!
Let’s start with my favorite authors! Meghan Quinn and Claire Kingsley. Cocky Roommate by Claire Kingsley got me into reading and I’ve never read a book by her I didn’t enjoy. How The Grump Saved Christmas was my best read of 2022! She is such a good writer, it HURTS! Meghan Quinn is my most read author, it takes everything in me not to read all of her books, but I gotta save some to pull me out of book slumps. A Not So Meet Cute is the Meghan Quinn classic, probably my favorite. But The Brentwood Boys will always have my heart. Her Hockey series goes so hard though.
Now, onto my favorite series (: The Billionaires of Manhattan by Annika Martin. Literal perfection, not a single thing wrong with it. SO MANY tropes, the men are perfecttttt, it has it all. My favs are probably The Billionaire’s Wake-Up-Call Girl (the first one I read, but book #2) or Butt-Dialling the Billionaire (book #7). Book #3 and #4 have the best tropes and plots though. NOPE NOPE DELETE THAT ALL BOOK #6 IS THE ACTUAL BEST!!! BENNYYYYYYYY!!!
I cannot forget my all-time favorite cover… which is for Sasha and The Butcher by Stephanie Kazowz.
The Twisted Series by Ana Huang completely altered my expectations for interconnected standalone series. The standards will never be met.
I Hate You More by Lucy Gilmore changed my fricken life!
I Temporarily Do by Ellie Cahill is the perfect vacation read. Friends getting married for college finance reasons then boom falling in love and staying married. Cute, realistic, I gushed even with the slow burn. Just felt right.
Love Her or Lose Her by Tessa Bailey and Untying the Knot by Meghan Quinn are top best marriage in trouble books I have ever read. I love the trope, but none have done it as good as them.
R.S. Grey is deathly underrated. Start with Not So Nice Guy.
One Day In December by Josie Silver, BROKE ME!! And it wasn’t even a sad book.
The Love Hypothesis IS NOT overrated, and it will be a Booktok classic that will last yearssssss!
Last on The List and One Moment Please by Amy Dawes goes so fricken harddddd. Only ones I have read by her, maybe the rest do too, but they were some of my fav reads of 2022, by far top ten (and I read around 150).
Reese’s Book Club picks are so valid. Yeah, Reese Witherspoon has fire taste. Especially The Proposal by Jasmine Guillory, One Day in December by Josie Silver, aka the only ones I’ve actually read haha.
A Long Time Coming by Meghan Quinn is my favorite friends-to-lovers and I don’t even like that stuff usually. Perfect Jim and Pam.
ANYWHORE
I’m probably forgetting some of my favorite, so sorry. Hopefully they will come up again haha.
